Rosemarri has been an AU tutor for a variety of communications, human services, and political science courses since 2013 in both online and blended, and asynchronous or synchronous environments. A nationally recognized Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Rosemarri has previously taught asynchronous courses in Strategic Human Resources with Athabasca University and Royal Military College in Kingston, ON.
As a graduate of Royal Roads University’s Master of Professional Communication – Intercultural and International Communication (MAPC-IIC as it was then known) program, and a graduate of Kouzes and Posner Leadership program she has also mentored many university students and colleagues, and worked both frontline and as a manager during her career with several Government of Alberta social service ministries.
Rosemarri brings her experience in managing communications, social marketing, workforce health and safety, strategic human resources, and strategic, business, and operational planning for two different provincial government departments to the governance, leadership, human services and political science courses she tutors.
As a doctoral student in education (distance education) with Athabasca University, Rosemarri has been researching Universal Design for Learning, accessibility, inclusive education, critical digital literacy, and Open Education Resources.
